*ITEM:  DIP FOUNTAIN Perry Pen Plus Brass NIB 1900 Era

*MANUFACTURER:  Wood body, Perry & Co. London, England. The Nib has “Joseph Gillott’s Principality England” and a picture of a crown stamped into it.

*MODEL:  Antique dip pen with wood body, metal grip and brass Nib.

*YEAR:  Unknown. I looked up the companies that manufactured the dip pen and Nib to find out about the age. I estimate the age to be turn of the century. Perry and co. has been around through the 1800’s and early 1900’s but the Joseph Gilliott Nib was produced up to 1910. I will estimate the age to be between 1890 and 1910.

*MATERIAL:  Wood body with a cast metal grip (grip looks like lead) and brass Nib.

*MEASURES:  With Nib approx. 6 1/2” long

*CONDITION:  Looks good. There’s some dings, knicks, scratches, marks and wear from use and age. The black paint has worn off in large areas. The Nib has lots of use wear and discoloration. There’s some noticeable corner and edge wear.
