*ITEM:  RCA VICTOR Brown Bakelite 45 RPM Record Player Has Hum

*MANUFACTURER:  RCA Victor

*MEASURES:   Approx. 7 1/2" T,  11 1/2" W,  12 L

*CONDITION:  This turntable was plugged in and the on/off switch turned on. The turntable spun, the arm moved and the spindle releases activated. The problem with this turntable is it has a very, very loud hum. I don't know what the hum is. The volume control did not lesson or raise the sound level of the hum. No cracks or chip noticed in the body, there is a "lid hold open arm" that is not attached to anything. This arm is loose. There is a slot on the side it appears to go into but it also has 4 screw holes or what appears to be screw holes. I don't know anything about this and there may be a missing piece that attaches to this loose hold open lid arm.

*FEATURES:  Plays 45 RPM records.
