*ITEM:  CALRAD DM 21 Professional Dynamic Vintage 1967 Stage Music Microphone Used

*MANUFACTURER:  Calrad  Japan

*MODEL:  DM - 21 This is "NOT" an actual "Doors" used microphone but it is the model year microphone used to record instrumental tracks of the "Doors" first "live album" at "The Matrix Nightclub" in 1967  by the club owner "Peter Abram" as stated by "Bruce Botnick" the doors long time sound engineer .

*YEAR:  1967 era.

*MATERIAL:  Looks like an aluminum body. The magnet didn't stick.

*MEASURES:  Approx. 8" Long from mount

*CONDITION:  This item was hooked up to an amp and tested before being put up for sale. The amp used to test this item is not the greatest and most items hooked up to it produce squeals and hums until the controls on the amp are adjusted properly. Even when nothing is hooked up the amp produces a low humming sound. Items tested on this amp and passed did work and produce sound even though the sound quality may be poor. Tone changes were heard clear enough but I am no sound expert so I will "Not" guarantee sound quality. I will only guarantee that when this item is put into the box and shipped to the buyer it worked and produced decent sound at some point when the amp controls were adjusted properly.

*MIC TEST RESULTS:  Tested, produced sound. This microphone squealed like a pig that's been caught! I ran my hand up and down the body and it squealed loud. It squealed when the cord was moved. After adjustments were made on the amp it produced sound that was understandable without the squeal. This microphone didn't produce a strong sound but I didn't have to turn the amp loudness up all the way to get sound production. Lots of dings and marks on the body of this one.

Tone changes were heard clear enough but I am no sound expert so I will "Not" guarantee sound quality. I will only guarantee that when this item is put into the box and shipped to the buyer it worked and produced decent sound at some point when the amp controls were adjusted properly.
