*ITEM: PENTAX Asahi Black Spotmatic SP 1969 Thu 1971 Single Lens Reflex Camera Needs Work

*YEARS PRODUCED: 1965 Thu 1970 before Spotmatic II in 1971
*YEAR OF THIS SPOTMATIC: Serial number 3788764 somewhere between 1969 to 1971. The Spotmatic II has a slightly different timer lever that this camera has. This camera isn't marked for being the Spotmatic II so it was produced slightly before the Spotmatic II came out in 1971. I also looked in a Spotmatic serial number database and the "3788" numbers fell right into the 1969 thru 1971 date range.
*MATERIAL: Brass body top and bottom
*LENS TYPE: Super Takumar - 85mm, 1:1.4 - 50
*CONDITION: This camera was not fully tested. No battery was installed for test purposes. The winder sets the action and the shoot button releases the action, the view finder shows through the lens and has lots of black spots on it, the lens adjusts alright, the timer was tested an it works, the black paint is worn through in places. Needs Work. This camera needs lots of work done to it.
