*ITEM: IMPERIAL Vintage 1950's I.K. Co. USA Single Blade All Metal Boys Pocket Knife
*MANUFACTURER: Imperial. I'm calling this knife an "Imperial" because the tang is marked, "IK Co" which is a type of marking Imperial used. Imperial used several tang mark designs over the years.
*MODEL: Single blade boys pocket knife. This model was typically sold to small boys like in scouting and for family camping trips.
*TANG MARKING: I.K. Co., USA Note, the tang looks like it is marked "LK Co" but it's not LK but instead "IK Co". The "L" is an "I." with a period after each letter that makes the "I" look like an "L".
*YEAR: Research states it was produced in the 1950's
*COLOR: Steel
*MATERIAL: Steel
*MEASURES: Body Approx. 3" long, 11/16" wide at widest, 1/4" thickness. Blades Approx., Main Blade 2 1/4" length X 1/2" at widest.
*CONDITION: Aged condition with darkened blades. Some forge pitting in the metal, soiled, lots of dings, knicks, marks and wear. The front main blade is in good antique shape. No side wiggle in the blade and the blade takes some effort to pull out.
