*ITEM:  REVELL 1998 Mercury Capsule & Atlas  Rocket "A Salute To John Glenn" Model Kit

*MANUFACTURER: Revell

*THEME:  This model kit was produced to salute "John Glenn's" return to space Oct. 29th, 1998. This model kit is a replica of John Glenn's space ship the "Friendship 7" he rode in to be the first man to orbit the earth on Feb. 20th, 1962.

*SCALE:  Unknown, box and instructions not marked with the scale.

*CONDITION: Unbuilt. The box has its dings, knicks, scratches, marks, wear and warping.

*PARTS:  All the parts appear to be intact. I did not count the parts individually but I did look at the plates and they all appear to be filled except in a few places. There are a few loose parts and I put them in a baggie. The loose parts do correlate with the empty spaces on the plates. The decals and instructions are intact.  The cloth shoulder patches that came with the model kit are missing.
