*ITEM: HARLEY DAVIDSON 1952 Thru 1970 Sportster Motorcycle Center Fill Gas Tank Used
*MANUFACTURER: Harley Davidson. This fuel tank has no manufacturers marks at all. It is a takeoff from a Harley and the old stuff wasn't always marked.
*MODEL: Sportster Center Fill Gas Tank
*YEAR: Exact year is unknown. 1952 thru 1970 model years are what these tanks fit. The tank fit is the buyers responsibility to ensure before the purchase is made.
*COLORS: The colors are a blend of black and purple with icy blue trim and lettering.
*MEASURES: Approx. 2.4 gallons
*CONDITION: Lots of dings, knicks, scratches, marks and wear from use. There's no gas cap and fuel lines. This tank was filled with pennies for years. The underneath has some surface rusting along the seams. There's never been any water in this gas tank except for when it was mounted and had watered down gas in it. It's hard to see inside but it appears there's a very light surface rust on the inside surface. No dents or cracks noticed in the tank body.
*FEATURES: Nice gas tank for a restoration project or future custom design project. The paint job on the tank isn't a bad design for a bike but could be cleaned up as to the application process. Whomever painted this tank got a couple of runs down one side.
