*ITEM: PHILCO Personal AM Tube Radio D661 1956 Tropical Red

*MODEL:  D661

*ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS:  Tube

*MEASURES: Approx. 10 X 6 1/2 X 3 3/4 in.

*CONDITION:  Doesn't work. Vintage used, I plugged this radio in and it turned on when I first acquired it and the radio sounded good. After awhile in storage I plugged it in again and the radio would not work. The only sound heard was a hum the second time I tested it. I pounded on the case a few times and heard some faint radio station and after a few moments the hum came back and the radio would not produce any sound. The only major facial abnormality noticed is the sticker on the dial knob is missing as seen in the picture and some color fading. Lots of dings, knicks, scratches, marks and use wear.

*Buyer is responsible for any maintenance or repairs needed and this radio will need to be repaired or new tubes installed. The knob sticker is missing and will have to be replaced or a new one made. The sticker is just a cone shaped chrome tone plate.

*This item will be sold "as-is" in used condition. No warranties or guarantees come with the purchase.
