*ITEM: POLICE PLAQUE Framed Picture Slogan Needs Repair Unused

*CONDITION: Unused with a factory flaw

*CONDITION:  This plaque is still in its original polywrap. It was never unwrapped and hung. I am the one that cut the plastic wrapping open to get a better picture.

This plaque has a flaw in it that made it out of the factory without being noticed. The first line in the slogan is supposed to say " To Serve and To Protect " but the "tect " was broken off and it reads " To Serve and To Pro ". The "tect" on the word "Protect" is missing and was broken off in the factory. I can tell this is what happened because the place where the "tect" is broken off has the copper finish over it. This means it went through the assembly line with the "tect" broken off, copper coated, then wrapped up and shipped. Quality control wasn't doing their job!

This can be repaired by the right person who can spent the hours its going to take to reproduce the lettering and match the copper color. A dremel, a steady hand and a good eye is what's needed to make the repair. All else on the plaque is in very good factory issued condition. The police officer in the picture is a half statue with an approx. 2" depth. The wording is the same way and protrudes off the plaque base about 1/4" to 1/2"

*The point of the red pencil in the pictures shows where this word is broken and missing the other half of the word "protect".

*An additional picture of the slogan will be sent upon request that can be read. The broken off part of the word "protect" can be seen better also.
