*ITEM:  USN Dark Blue Military Coffee Pot 1940s WWII

*MANUFACTURER:  Bottom is stamped "U.S.N. The Vollrath Co." 

*MODEL:  Granite Ware 

*MEASURES:  Approx. 12" tall,  9 1/2" dia. base

*MATERIAL: Porcelain over steel

*YEAR: Early 1940's. WW2 . The manufacturing era was identified through military surplus dealers selling the same exact coffee pot.

*CONDITION: Steel swing handle has surface rust, there are some chips in the blue speckled finish on the exterior with surface rust showing through, inside looks very nice. Overall its not in bad condition for being used to boil water for thousands of service men/women in the armed forces. This is not a percolator pot. It's a pot used to boil water.
