*HISTORY: This guitar was messed with by someone who didn't know electrical components
*TEST CONDITION: This item was hooked up to an amp and tested before being put up for sale. The amp used to test this item is not the greatest and most items hooked up to it produce squeals and hums until the controls on the amp are adjusted properly. Even when nothing is hooked up the amp produces a low humming sound. Items tested on this amp and passed did work and produce sound even though the sound quality may be poor. I will "Not" guarantee sound quality. I will only guarantee that when this item is put into the box and shipped to the buyer it worked and produced sound.
*GUITAR TEST RESULTS: This guitar was tested. Nothing works! The guitar to amp jack was pushed inside the recessed jack housing because the nut was taken off and not put back on. I removed the recessed jack housing to access the jack and plugged in the guitar to amp cord. Guitar was dead. No squeal, hum, twerp or nothing. Totally dead guitar.
The bridge hardtail was bent up because the previous owner tightened up the strings at the keys and just kept going. I loosened the strings and the bridge hardtail laid back down. I can still pull it up about 1/8" with my fingers. Don't know how much damage was done to the mounting screw holes.
All the tone controls including the 3 knobs and lever are shot. I have no idea if they adjust sound or not because the guitar is dead so I will just say, "They need to be replaced".
I have no idea if the pickups work or not since the guitar is dead and I could not test them. The pickups will probably have to be replaced also.
*GUITAR BODY CONDITION: Guitar body has lots of noticeable dings, knicks, scratches and wear. The neck looks straight. The string tensioner winders turn and tighten/loosen the strings. I wiped the guitar down but some soil in the nooks and crannies is present.
