*ITEM: IMPERIAL Body Style Delrin Handle 3 Blade Vintage Pocket Knife No Tang Stamp
*MANUFACTURER: Looks like an Imperial. I'm calling this knife an "Imperial" because the main blade and body are exactly the same as a marked Imperial knife I found on the internet being sold. The Imperial knife I found that matches the knife I'm selling has a "Mother Of Pearl" handle and only two blades.
*MODEL: Not Marked. 3 blade with what appears to be a Delrin handle. A hot pin test was done and the pin pushed in.
*TANG MARKING: None. I checked, there are absolutely no tang marks or any marks on the blades at all. This knife's body style and main blade exactly matches a version Imperial knife manufactured.
*YEAR: Unknown. Possibly mid 1950's or early 1960's
*COLOR: White handle and forged steel
*MATERIAL: Steel
*MEASURES: Body Approx. 4" long, 3/4" wide at widest, 1/2" thickness. Blades Approx., Main Blade 3" length X 1/2" at widest, 2nd blade 2 1/8, 3rd blade 2" length.
*CONDITION: Aged condition with darkened blades. Some forge pitting in the metal, soiled, lots of dings, knicks, marks and wear. The front main blade and its front sidekick are in good antique shape. The opposite back single blade looks like a piece of the blade tip is broken off but it may not be? If it was broken off there's no clean break platform and someone may have filed it to look rounded?
The main blade has some very noticeable side wiggle in it and closes easily when pushed. The front sidekick blade has a very small amount of wiggle and takes more pressure to close. The rear blade and an very little wiggle and takes some pressure to close. All 3 blades are easy to get a fingernail on and open.
